Is it Finally Over? Albrae shutters after 6 years.

Albrae school is gone? It would appear to be! We knew they were gone really, since the ridiculous claim they were now inside Wal Mart as of 2018, and a car place was put in where they were.

Medford was hit by the wildfires, as was our area. We are still here. They probably are still out there.

The web site for the school claims they are permanently closed.

They can blame it more on the pandemic than on former students, as there was no way to remain open, even under the rug, somewhere else.

Was looking through some of the old blogs. We were very angry. I think we've made up since there, and aren't so angry. Still, I will not be going to hang out with the cult anytime.

Even in isolation where dreams of being in crowds come and go, COL is not one of my dreams.

Permanently Closed on Albrae Avenue martial arts school

The web site today for the JungSuWon branch and former main school on Albrae Ave, in Fremont, CA allegedly inside WalMart, has permanently closed, according to the site page.

Our WordPress sites are not working right, probably on their end, but Google works sluggishly today.

After 8 months of the CoVid 19 pandemic that led to months of lockkdown and stay at home orders of the state, they finally had to come out and state, we're closed at JSW and there will not be any more classes.

Medford, their key other facility, where there is their new Lighthouse, which is technically their backup, has been hit hard by the local wildfires there and likely has shuttered also.

Fremont was hit by smoke from the fires weeks ago, and is still a mess, choked with smog.

I have been to that WalMart. They were never inside of the store.

With the pandemic still ongoing, they cannot operate a close contact training studio using social distancing. How that would even work would be a mess.

Rival schools Shatokan and West Coast Karate immediately shuttered in March and did not reopen, but the Albrae school of JSW claimed nothing was changed since then, for months, until today when they announced in red lettering, they are permanently closed.

Even though we did not like the COL cult, we hope that everyone there has survived the pandemic and is staying at home somewhere to recover. They are related to the cult since the 1990s and have denied there is a cult, when there clearly was one.

Lighthouse Fremont could not be approached for comment.

The mansion had been up for sale. Not sure if it got destroyed in the fires. Can't really check.

It appears they took the Grandmaster's words during several of her pity parties, 'you can leave' or 'i could leave', and walked out. They could leave. So they did.

We have no stake in their dealings anymore, so they have nothing on us.

Limited Hours for Fake School

Yep, seems now it says limited hours on the cult website. My guess is they are not actually updating the site and aren't having classes.

Posted elsewhere Col reduces hours during Virus outbreak

You heard it right. Reduced. The web pages for the cult are still up and claiming there are simply reduced hours, as you can still go to the academy and work at the company, but it will be in a limited capacity.

Allow some elaboration. The Corona virus is a flu like pandemic currently sweeping the planet, with cases in this valley, but mostly in other states, and most noted in China, the Middle East, Korea, various island nations, and Europe and other parts of Asia.

It has claimed tens of thousands worldwide, and thousands now US.

In the US, there had been some states of mandatory lock down and stay at home, which means most businesses, including computer companies and mall shops, martial arts schools, and gyms, and the like, closed. Even libraries.

The actual class and masters probably are exposed. As a health club deal, they should all be indoors in COL Fremont and not going out, or the one in Newark, or the like.

They should not be encouraging anyone to come visit the school located in Fremont, unless that school is now bogus, and they haven’t been there in weeks.

The school is not located in Wal Mart in Fremont. The store was open. Was just there yesterday. They’re not inside the store. It had limited hours. It only stocked essentials.

COL is not an essential. Do the right thing, COL, and shelter in, and make up blogs about how you are so mistreated by the net. You can even claim you only hoarded stuff beforehand because it was energy! I bet.

COL Ignoring Pandemic Corona Virus Holds Reduced Hours

My daughter just informed me of this. I checked it out on the web sites. COL's operational classes and companies remain open and at reduced hours against the stay at home lock down during the Corona Virus outbreak of March 2020.

My ex just informed me too. Holy cow. Are you COL people asking to go out via a virus? Well, that would be unique. Legends will tell of your passing because you thought ki energy was going to save you.

I don't buy Karma, but that would be a serious one if you did. Kimpers is old She could catch it. If you want to save someone, at least save her. She also had conditions, so she is especially prone to getting something. It would be best to close up temporarily and stay inside.

Also the public uses your businesses, and they're not essential. Martial arts gyms are closed until further notice. Don't be irresponsible and stay open, even if your main people were not exposed.

You don't know they weren't. You could spread it. Wash your hands and stay away from others, and don't touch your faces. Sparring also would be a great way to spread it through sweat. No sparring. You'll have to do that later. Physical contact, nope.

Usually an exer will berate the guru's actions, but this time, it's a PSA and we don't want anything bad to happen for real.

Note to COL You must close the school and company during CoVid 19 Virus

Here at KK, we are no longer at the school, not for several years, but we keep tabs on you. This is nuts. You hare reduced hours? But really, close the school, and the company during the outbreak. You are irresponsible. Also your master guru is not physically well, and is susceptible to the contagion. She is getting on in years, has conditions, and would easily become compromised if you bring stuff in.

California needs to be sheltered in. You aren't immune to the virus because you have alleged chi powers. Eseential businesses remain open, but tae kwon do gyms arfen't essential. They should be closed until the pandemic passes.

We are not a medical site. It just is common sense.

Also some of you are getting on in years and could get it. You are not immune. You do not have super powers.

Very young children can also get it. That is a health risk.

Some of the Seamy Stuff for the Cult

J recalls.
Back about 15 years ago, there was a strange meeting at the COL house, not the mansion, where the woman instructors pulled us all into a room and asked us private questions about who we liked. It was weird considering some of us were not even adults at the time. It didn't occur to me then that the journals and diaries we kept had been used to tailor our classes. Having a crush on an instructor doesn't lead to anything, but some of them did say they had one. It was very uncomfortable for them in class later.

A recalls
Oh, I remember the move, and that was to San Jose, and how there was some deal with that city, but things over the three years there got weird, and there was a lot of unfinished construction. Three years later, we had to get the heck out.

Ke recalls
The In Design Nutritional scandal in the 1990s was a pyramid sales scam meant to give untold money to the Grandmaster. Some of us ended up making a little, but most of the 76 or so students in that ended up with unsold stock in our garages for years. We created the companies to try and sell it off. We had years of back log make up products, and nutrition supplements, most of which the food wend bad.

SD recalls
Lighthouse did not start in 1988. It started in 1982 as a Software Group, and it sold games, some of them wholesome Christian games. Then it was remade into Lighthouse Associates, which became the LWS now. It was not called that until 1992. Technically, they started in 1992.

Ayc recalls
Cable satellite sales pyramid scam People's Network never worked. They had a bunch of us pretty young spokes models there as students. They requested we not hit on the instructors, which I found odd, in about 1996, but it was to distract us from looking too closely. The scam didn't sell any stuff because they were ripping off the labels from the Dish network then and putting on their own stickers! It literally was a fraud.

JB recalls
ATC was a fraud. They had been using someone else's name in Milpitas, I was old, and by 1989 had been sued, and had to change it to the name you know and love now.

R recalls
Right before the infamous April 1997 story, I was dating an instructor, and after that, it got really awkward. I never learned why, until reading years later on BS about it, and Cultmaster, and was like, so that's it! My advice, never date your instructor, or your boss. Just don't. Too much drama. Also, years later, the db had a problem ahem, in the bedroom, and blamed my relationship, and the GM was more than happy to claim that was it. I got blamed, in class, well et class, humiliated. If he couldn't get it up 2 years later, that's not my fault. Come on! Or not, in his case. It was probably her fault for threatening the male instructors in a special class one night in April 1997. Really surprised they didn't all up and quit. She must have had something on each one. She reads the diaries, so yeah.

Ptt recalls
You commented there were thousands, even up to 9,000, but I think that number exaggerated. More like 7,000. Not at any given time. Yearly, it was at most 200 people going through, and most white belts did not retain the rank or stay. This school was not even at the level of the rival then, West Coast, not even close. Friendly rivalry though. We even did a movie together. Some good times. Bad ones rare. Also the cosmetics company was not part of IDN. It was part of another scheme she cooked up, and relabeled other people's stuff. I think it was like a knock off Avon. Can also confirm that the TV show only was on public access and only officially aired 22 episodes there, one season. It's not that impressive because she paid for it herself, with her people. Public access means you pay them, more or less.

Nits and Tidbits from ex COL people

Did Kitty Ki actually die recently?
No, she was a relative of the Fillets, which is a name we use, but she was an aunt in the family, not Kitty Ki, although she did like Hello Kitty. She never posted.

Was there a recent demo for COL?
No. JSW might have done something in Oregon recently, but not COL. It was not news.

Was the former instructor who left recently a man or woman, as they seem to be silent about that?
She is a woman. She will not reveal her identity, but COL knows full well who she is, and that's why they're silent. They're like, holy cow she was there and knows way too much. We had better not pry far into that, as she could sue. She wouldn't get mad and do anything crazy.

Is JSW inside Wal Mart as they claim?
No. They're not there. They couldn't operate a school in a different business like that. Come on.

But isn't this just Mrs. Fillet from years ago, as we call her here, ranting about stuff she doesn't know anymore about?
Well, having recently talked to the inspiration for the Fillet clan, they claim they want nothing to do with the cult anymore, and don't talk about it. They aren't us. They would rather let it be in the past. So, no.

They asked if we had connections to My Days in a Bay Area Cult and had somehow been feeding the flames?
No, we're not associated with JH's site at all. But we do feed the smouldering flames of keeping the cult in some sort of limelight to educate.

Does it really matter which ex students post?
No. Not really. Over the past 35 years, at most 9,000 people have gone through the school, which sounds like a lot, but more than two thirds of that, let's say 6,000 of them, never made it to orange belt. One third of them made it to brown belt, which is like red, but only at most 200 have been instructors, having gone to black belt. The current masters are at most 8 or 10, so really we are talking about a small, small school student body, over the years. According to the insiders, they have had about 40 students each year since 2015. Forty. The main school. They have maybe 5 instructors and a master at the school at a given time. Great one on one practice. That's it. So even though they can claim to have almost 10,000 former students over the course of 30 years or more, that number is repeaters and those staying is much smaller. A fraction.

How big was COL in its prime and how big is it now?
In the middle 1990s, COL as the energy class business, when there were 200 students at the Milpitas school, was about half of them were in part time or full time COL, nearly 100 people. At the point of the Inside Edition, it was 50 of them who left, who included Mrs. Fillet's Mom, under her real name, the one that won't comment. Jane though will comment. Full time COL was never larger than 80, as if they kept rolls.

COL is a fraction of what it was, using only 20 or so students but at high levels, giving them master ranks, as using junior students was a bad idea.  So back in the past, they would have those under green belt in COL also, which proved to be a problem. They weren't as committed, had different resolve, and weren't as useful to the cult. But there was an advantage to having a few, as they could play spin doctor and plug the school and recruit.

Does COL still call itself College of Learning or City of Light?
No. They do business as various smaller groups, with names like energy training, special training, extensive or intensive training, and so on. It's COL in different clothing, red coats perhaps. Wink at the red coat story

What is the red coat story?
We can go into that later, but the rumor that we heard was TYK misunderstood a scene from Schindler's List where the girl wearing red was caught because she stood out, so they had better not wear red coats, symbolically, and stand out, as not to get caught. It was more like an analogy to Joseph and the coat of many colors from the Bible, before that, and how he had been sold off to Egypt by his brothers who were jealous of his coat, or power, but who later forgave the brothers. She had mixed the stories. The girl wasn't caught for being different. She was caught for being one of the people the Nazis in the story were after. Joseph from the Bible and his story was not at all like the movie. Joseph rose to power and helped his people.

More to come.

Just Informed Master is Not Out but Will Be

It appears that COL has not yet discovered the ex master's breach of confidence in the cult, so we will not print the person's further stuff, just in case it's a trap. It is likely COL has put the person on temporary leave, and would pull them back in. I cannot tell you if it is a he or she, as that would reveal much, although you all likely figured that master females are rare. That doesn't mean there aren't any though. I do hope they come out, as it would be better than being under scrutiny trying to go back to the cult.

And yes, Fillet is a made up name. Did they think we were going to use our real last names? Ha.

Mad Dash by COL to Find the Fillets Hits Wall

A campy online Kindle parody of the Bullshido scandal about Jung SuWon and COL from 2005 to 2018, but put onto the web in 2019, has spurred a race to find out who this sneaky Fillet family is at COL, according to a recent exer.

The leadership had been combing over the Kindle parody for legal reasons, but because the names were all changed, there was no legal suit in question. The former students who had put the books together had also done their homework and posted in such a way as to not be libel.

The cult thought they could sue the former students, but the authors, under aliases themselves, had changed all the names and some of the stories, making them into space comedy and put them on alien planets.

The ones that were the most miffed were the ones reminded of the crazy stuff in COL houses depicted as an alien planet in the story. Mostly it was mind control and people control stuff, not really anything to pin dates to, or people, but because they were sloppy, they could tell immediately.

Also, heh, the story from this blog inspired them, that trial, so this blog received some interesting questions. We didn't answer them.

First of all, the original Kitty Ki was playing off the name of Ki TYK Ki, and also off of Hello Kitty Ki, the evil clone of Hello Kitty who turned good.

Kit Fillet was a joke originally. You would never debone and cook a cat. Kit Fillet. Duh.

Jodie, Linda, Jules, whatever, were all names that COL foisted on people. I know one of them is my daughter, and I barked at a Bullshido lady for harassing her in 2011. I also kicked my son Michael off that site after posting for him. Another is my stepson. And also, none of them are right. You think I am going to encourage them to use their real names, COL? No.

The Fillets do not exist. They are fictional. They're loosely based on a pair of families active in COL in the 1990s, but had left and never returned.

But you can't guess, COL, because I might still know people in there eager to quit.

You cannot deny the AG scandal of 2006 or so.

You cannot deny the IDN scandal and TON scandal of the 1990s.

You cannot deny you controlled people's relationships and made them upset, COL. The 2000s incidents weren't just mad exers.

Then it continued undercover into the 2010s.

COL is a cult. You cannot deny that.

It is not all the roses and platitudes it claims. It isn't culture. Thank you.

Completely other Ex student Seen at Mall Today

Also this is not on the other site, but we were in the mall today in little cornfields and saw Kitty Ki, the one, alone after he had seen a movie. He knew of me, but didn't meet hubby before, except if you count the park that time, the movie event that other time, and a few times during local conventions. He is not in the cult and was never officially in it. He used to post on BS, as did we. Hubby corrected him when he called me by my pre COL name. Ha. I kept the fake name. It got changed again, Honest mistake. Lol.

Posted on my Other site about Surprise Master

On the WordPress at CultSlayerUsBlog there is a post from a former COL master who left, and who was one of our insiders. Now that this person has left, it should garnish a slew of paranoid guesses at the cult as to which one, of the clutch of them fired last year, was actually the poster.
