The Result of the 2008 Dismissed AG Case COL Countered and Lost

Aggregate site Bullshido specialized in exposing fake martial arts cults. CH,RB and many others began a long thread there now known as the 'Looking for Ex Jung SuWon City of Light Students" mega thread forum, from 2005 to 2016.

Spurred on to a head in 2008 were exers as so called Adamites, AG's friends, who were member of the cult or the school. AG himself never posted. Kim sued him for alimony, not palimony. No children involved. Her people countered for company related issues related to breach of contract and trust, and patents, and a false accusation of assault from one of his paramours.

Yet he never posted. CultMember though coincidentally posted the paramour's side of the story.

The formal numbers and monies paid are not known, but there is enough from both parties that AG still lists having worked for TYK on his website.

Late in 2008 there was a hold put on posting anything, among COL, stating that they had best not comment anymore on all aggregate sites, and tell their followers the same.

COL went a step farther and decided to ban any internet traffic from JSW students, regardless of whether or not they ever posted.

In response to this, some YSN students and former students formed a 'fire sale site' called Operation Komodo Dragon to allegedly expose those posting as Cult Slayer Us on an aggregate website next to that of COL pr people posting as Frog and Scorpion to find them.

This did nothing. After close to two years, CultSlayerUs went down, about 2014. It was pulled by someone posting as me.

In 2015, through our people, we contacted the paramour from the other site, who also had CultSlayerUs originally, but no longer wanted the name.

Then in 2015, two copycat CultSlayerUs sites appeared and posted archives, of which both are still active, and have brought in exers who weren't part of rival Bullshido at all.

In 2017, insiders of the 'jump drive incident' used several aggregate sites to repair the damage done by OKD messing up the fun for the exers. This worked a little too well. It got confused for FAS and both cancelled each other.

MH site did not survive the purge, but KF's did. KK's did also.

Also in 2017, the court records online disappeared regarding the case, but they were saved by exer KK.

It's all a long chain of legal red tape but the gist of it is the following.

The civil court of the County of Alameda where the Fremont place was issued an immediate cease of the cases therein, as issued in October 2008.

The exer sleuths got 'with prejudice' from a motion that stated that COL's side of any possible case was clearly meant to smear AG and destroy him, to which the accused could have immediately sued for defamation. This was stricken so it never came up on the final form.

Weird that years later, he still feels compelled to mention them on his old work pages. They were trying to silence him. He should just take all that down.

A counter claim was never seriously going to stand. They had some, but the claims were bogus. The court found it ridiculous that a martial artist can claim they've been assaulted and it would be impossible to prove that.

Also not wishing to purger herself, the paramour said, it never happened and no she was told to say this.

Much of this was in closed chambers. The case was never going to a jury trial. It was a court judge who pulled them into chambers. This was only after the defense brought to light that the marriage between TYK and AG wasn't legitimate in the first place. It was never finalized in the county of Santa Clara next door.

They learned that the divorce case could not go forward because they weren't even common law, and therefore the case against AG dissolved completely.

The sly COL master claimed the marriage was back in Santa Clara county, when it took a while to look up the records from that county and mail them to the court. It was not like now when you can just check the country records online.

The last part of the record is a formal grilling from the judge explaining they had best not waste their time again. They also had better drop the counter claims. That was done.

The NDA was not an NDA but a gag order, which expired in 7 years, about 2015, and was not legal.

The judge did not order this. It was the COL people. They also felt it extended to their own posting and so never answered the Bullshido people about it.

What is odd is that it was simple to get this info from the sources.

KB then posted the results on her site, and it spread to the CultSlayer, but the CultMember site did not go near it.

In 2023, Bullshido deleted the long thread, but in 2024, a recovered version only going from 2005 to 2011 was reuploaded.

In 2025, it was revealed that all along, KB was not the paramour of AG at all, but the paid actress paramour of another instructor, who was the sibling of JP, a woman formerly within COL.

Believing some of the editorials might cause new legal problems, especially old ones, several blogs were redacted or removed.

Then in May 2025, JP deleted her Google pages and gave them to KB.

Is College of Learning still a Cult?

If you are reading this and wondering, what does this person think she is doing? Who is she? What's in it for her?

Nothing is in it for me, not fame, not fortune, and not reviews. This is about educating the masses to the dangers of letting any self proclaimed guru direct your lives. If anyone tells you they know better than you, that's a red flag.

Maybe it is worse now that the cult has gone under the radar? Maybe not. Maybe it's better, because now there isn't a place online for them to claim the guru is amazing. Let us not forget, she is as prideful as ever, somewhere else. She can move to remote places, but that makes it worse, for their members.

My site will not be posting the JDMS or Clare stuff, but if you want to read it, you can go to My Days in a Bay Area Cult.

I was there after them, obviously.

They can't get away with the same stuff they used to. When Clare broke the story of the exhausted students getting a little ankle bracelet thing if they fell asleep, one of the then current cult people actually read that, and used it against them. She was later kicked out, but she used it. She kicked the guy putting on the bracelet in the face, and then she was kicked out of COL!

Why don't the cult members go to the police? That's really hard to do for them. They have nothing when they go in there, and all they earn is immediately given over to the company, or to the school. They can't just go to the cops.

More or less, people leave amicably now, ever since Bullshido exposed them, for years.

They knew about BS as early as 2006, and with all the stuff going on behind the scenes, did have intense classes about it. The guru was livid. The instructors are lying if they claimed they didn't come there frequently. A dozen of them posted there, using aliases, on company hours. One of them even remained long enough to berate his fired boss about his work skills.

The brainwashing seemed to have started with all that ki energy and stuff, all that mysticism and higher purpose stuff, where actually the higher purpose was to feed the coffers of the guru.

People who were rich and also niave were quickly recruited, and there were caes of some of them rooked out of their money.

Humanitarian awards and acclaims were usually bought with student endorsement and money, and employees, which should be unethical at best. They would outright lie, claiming the New York Times or Forbes, or some other prestigue rag, had given them an award or but them on  best list, when they called it in all along.

If you confront the guru, she will claim she is being pursecuted for being a female, and if then you pry on, she will bring up the default cancer, but the thing is, it seemed everyone her age gets cancer. It has nothing to do with if she was good at running a business. It's just not relevant. She craves attention and wants to rule the world, among other outlandish things.

She did control relationship, the marriages of her top people, and the lives of her lower caste students.
Look up Shadow Dancer's story.

Ironically, she may have an honorary degree, or even an honorary great title, but she doesn't practice what she claims at all, and used to throw tremendous ego fits including infamously the 1997 incident, the 2006 AdamG incident, and the melted down masters meeting in 2011.

No way could the 34 main posting ex students, or the 200 other ex students, have made all of that up for spite. They meant to educate. Even Bemused, who had the biggest gripe next to Shadow, was not out to destroy the cult, but out to educate others. Shadow and the like, maybe they were, but with good reason.

JDMS was forced to fast after being led out into the rain during a guru led hissy fit incident which led to her eventually leaving COL in 2003.

Back in Vermont, Failed Sudent was nearly rooked into several of her crazy deals.

In the 1990s, JJ Halpin and others were rooked into the IDN scam.

You can read any number of stories. They are all out there. You can ignore some of them, sure, but note if you ask the cult to be honest, they will not be.

Yes, it is still a cult. You've been told.

Jp

EDIT: The cult went out during the pandemic, but had been shorted years before, and was doing business as the school until at latest 2021.

Inside Walmart? Really, COL?

Just thought to comment today on some wrongheaded locations for the former COL, such as the web site that links it to Albrae in Fremont, where it is 'inside Walmart'. How does that work? Walmart is not going to put your academy inside itself.

And Technology Place, your old location, is now a swim academy.

And Orchard Parkway, San Jose location is an unrelated computer company.

And Minis Circle, Milpitas is an audio insurance place.

Bt all of these have JSW or COL numbers associated with them. What the hey?

Just say, theoretically someone wanted to train there. They would call those numbers and get some weird answering machine or person? Hu?

EDIT: 2019 post. They still claim they are in the Pavilion. Having been there months ago, nope, they're not there, but one of ours picked up some litter they left from a demo, and tossed it in WalMart's trash, which is where COL demos belong.

Universal Mind Prayer is Not Christian

College of Learning often used this prayer at dinners and energy class.

"Guarded we are one energy, one strength, one universal mind (soul, heart, conscience), from the pure white light of Christ, nothing but good will go from us, nothing but good will come from us. In the name of Jesus let us (let this) be granted, Amen."

It is a weird conflagration of several Bible quotes, but is not in fact from any Bible reference!

The concept of the 'Universal Mind' goes back to the trippy 60s works of a cult that was combining Taoism and Buddhism with other religions. It was also quoted by the Rev. Moon, and L Ron Hubbard.

It couldn't be Biblical by just cobbling together parts from Leviticus, Matthew, and John.

Many passages invoke the pure light of God, but only a few times, light of Christ.

They cannot be 'one soul, mind and strength' as that sounds kind of like the Pentecost, but it's not. It implies God is not involved, when in the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit in Acts came down upon all of them and make them speak in tongues. This is not what the quote means in the COL version.

Nothing but good will come from us, nothing but good will go from us. What does that mean subjectively?

It seems a weird mis remembering of 'The Catholic Creed' and the 'Apostle's Creed' and a little of 'The Lord's Prayer'.

Also note that Lucifer was also bringer of light.

By having them apparently channel that they're a universal being, they are in fact idolizing something other that God. Just invoking the name of Christ might in that concept be blasphemous, or at least, hypocrisy.

They have mixed this up with new age mumbo jumbo.

"Pure white light of God"
"Nothing but good with comm to us."
"In the name of Jahova let this be granted."

EDIT: This post from 2019 was updated by our sites on another site and concludes she got it from the Bible and the Universal Church of the Moonies. Ha.

Completely other Ex student Seen at Mall Today

Also this is not on the other site, but we were in the mall today in little cornfields and saw Kitty Ki, the one, alone after he had seen a movie. He knew of me, but didn't meet hubby before, except if you count the park that time, the movie event that other time, and a few times during local conventions. He is not in the cult and was never officially in it. He used to post on BS, as did we. Hubby corrected him when he called me by my pre COL name. Ha. I kept the fake name. It got changed again, Honest mistake. Lol.

Edit: This was in 2020.

Brief on the Latest Gossip about the Cult

Michael sent us some info by mistake, ha, so I am going to go over it and explain it.

COL thinks they have an idea who the Fillets are. They don't. The fictional Fillets from the random space fan film about Star Trek are in no relation to anyone. Just because it happens to crib from the Bullshido thread doesn't mean it's about COL directly. It has been changed significantly. Not much of it is evidence of anything. They are fiction. Literary amalgamation.

Changing names to copy the former students will not trick them into siding with COL. It just makes them look foolish. Claiming that another of you is somehow Korean now, or another is named for a black belt there, is ridiculous. Claiming you are now super religious by assuming the name Agape is hilarious. I almost spat out my tea when I read that. Ha.

Also making the names so close to the former students, or current ones, and pretending to be them, could be misconstrued as fraud. COL might want to lay off like name changes.

For instance, now that there are a total of 6 Kitty Kis, can we stop now? It's getting nuts.

Five Michaels is crazy enough.

No love for Matthew or John, aye? Ha. I suppose Jesus would be too much, even for you.

How come one of the Grandmaster wives is not only still a chief instructor, not a master, but also doesn't share you last name? That is kind of messed up. You're married for years now.

You might want to rethink who is president of your computer company, COL, as usually your presidents don't have the best gossip track record. What would people think is chief master president was promoted above grandmaster vice president? How does that work? So many unanswerable questions.

Not that president of an appointed company where you pick your leaders makes sense.

And stop firing the YSN kids. They're not in on whatever conspiracy you're serving up. The exers were formerly there, but not anyone current.

EDIT: This might not be entirely accurate but it's an Op Ed from 2021.

Some of the Seamy Stuff for the Cult

J recalls.
Back about 15 years ago, there was a strange meeting at the COL house, not the mansion, where the woman instructors pulled us all into a room and asked us private questions about who we liked. It was weird considering some of us were not even adults at the time. It didn't occur to me then that the journals and diaries we kept had been used to tailor our classes. Having a crush on an instructor doesn't lead to anything, but some of them did say they had one. It was very uncomfortable for them in class later.

A recalls
Oh, I remember the move, and that was to San Jose, and how there was some deal with that city, but things over the three years there got weird, and there was a lot of unfinished construction. Three years later, we had to get the heck out.

Ke recalls
The In Design Nutritional scandal in the 1990s was a pyramid sales scam meant to give untold money to the Grandmaster. Some of us ended up making a little, but most of the 76 or so students in that ended up with unsold stock in our garages for years. We created the companies to try and sell it off. We had years of back log make up products, and nutrition supplements, most of which the food wend bad.

SD recalls
Lighthouse did not start in 1988. It started in 1982 as a Software Group, and it sold games, some of them wholesome Christian games. Then it was remade into Lighthouse Associates, which became the LWS now. It was not called that until 1992. Technically, they started in 1992.

Ayc recalls
Cable satellite sales pyramid scam People's Network never worked. They had a bunch of us pretty young spokes models there as students. They requested we not hit on the instructors, which I found odd, in about 1996, but it was to distract us from looking too closely. The scam didn't sell any stuff because they were ripping off the labels from the Dish network then and putting on their own stickers! It literally was a fraud.

JB recalls
ATC was a fraud. They had been using someone else's name in Milpitas, I was old, and by 1989 had been sued, and had to change it to the name you know and love now.

R recalls
Right before the infamous April 1997 story, I was dating an instructor, and after that, it got really awkward. I never learned why, until reading years later on BS about it, and Cultmaster, and was like, so that's it! My advice, never date your instructor, or your boss. Just don't. Too much drama. Also, years later, the db had a problem ahem, in the bedroom, and blamed my relationship, and the GM was more than happy to claim that was it. I got blamed, in class, well et class, humiliated. If he couldn't get it up 2 years later, that's not my fault. Come on! Or not, in his case. It was probably her fault for threatening the male instructors in a special class one night in April 1997. Really surprised they didn't all up and quit. She must have had something on each one. She reads the diaries, so yeah.

Ptt recalls
You commented there were thousands, even up to 9,000, but I think that number exaggerated. More like 7,000. Not at any given time. Yearly, it was at most 200 people going through, and most white belts did not retain the rank or stay. This school was not even at the level of the rival then, West Coast, not even close. Friendly rivalry though. We even did a movie together. Some good times. Bad ones rare. Also the cosmetics company was not part of IDN. It was part of another scheme she cooked up, and relabeled other people's stuff. I think it was like a knock off Avon. Can also confirm that the TV show only was on public access and only officially aired 22 episodes there, one season. It's not that impressive because she paid for it herself, with her people. Public access means you pay them, more or less.

EDIT: Some of the numbers and dates are questionable on this as people sometimes have difficulty remembering key events after so many years.
