Reply to the 1997 cover up incident

Recently, Cult Slaye Us Blog posted a new story from my time period within the dreaded cult, so I thought I would chime in, since I was quoted, well misquoted. I am okay with it though. In a completely separate journal entry, as they made it sound like it was the same one, I did indeed talk to 'Mark' the student who allegedly had been in trouble, nearly a full year later. 

At the time we did not know about the bizarre incident of April 1997 save for that cover story, which I blogged about back then, but did not give to the guru. Had we known, I would have left, but we did not know. 

Also, let's call him Mark, but know he is not an instructor there, and never was. He was a student, that is, he still is. To my recollection, which is somewhat apt given my working for their cheesy fan zine back then, they did cover it up and didn't want to discuss it. 

Mark though was shocked a year later. Not only was he shocked, but it got weirder. 

After a second incident nearly another year afterward, probably after another hissy fit, the guru and instructors claimed Mark had been killed while on drugs. This was an all out lie. How did I know this? He went to the college I attended for a time, and was alive and well, still there! He was in their cafe. 

Chalked this up to them wanting to continue the cover up. They couldn't have anyone go and investigate on the internet, look him up, and find out what he was doing. 

You might know him though. He published on Bullshido several years later, angrily, and claimed that they 'pretended he was dead'. They could not when he appeared to be alive! It was creepy to him. That is to clarify. 

I have not seen him in many years, but I suspect he is still alive, still wondering why back in 1997 and then in 1998 they pretended he was no more. Guess they really didn't like him. 

Ironically it was his COL name. Mark. Also note that the character of Anthony in the space story is supposed to be named after him. Not that it matters. He is alive. 

EDIT: He is still alive. We do not know where he is.
