Honorary
title of doctor doesn’t give Kim the right to call herself that.
According
to exers. “Hello all you dear readers! We’ve been looking over the Sookmyung
web sites. These are sites pertaining to the school where allegedly this Tae
Yun Kim received an honorary doctorate in business administration. Several of
her PR sites call her a doctor, straight out. She received this honor in 2005
apparently, about the same time she was promoted to ‘great grandmaster’ by one
of the Korean martial arts foundations, but not the ITF and not the WTF. We
checked that out. They deny knowing her. Getting a doctorate from a Korean
school you’ve never worked at, or studied at, is dubious enough, but to claim
you are an official doctor is also equally false. It is interesting that TYK
allegedly gave a black belt to a politician in the early 2000s, a man named
Pete McHugh, who was from the old pictures we discovered quite overweight. The
politician received thus an honorary belt. He would not and did not go out and
say he was a black belt. He had what amounted to an honorary title. If this TYK
person was honest she would go back and reprint all of her Dr. Kim stuff and
say, ‘honorary’ beforehand. It is the honorable thing to do.
