Case Dismissed with Prejudice in 2008

It has been so many years since this, and so much speculation, but now a retired witness to the whole thing has stepped forward. Yes, that thing. The reason Bullshido even covered the machinations of College of Learning and all their affiliates from 2005 to 2015. The case. That one.

"I stumbled across your site and assumed you were in the know. I also read some very curious comments from one of my NDA people, so naturally I had to investigate." They said.

"But don't worry. I am long since retired from all this. I was one of the prosecution on the case of (LWS) and (COL) versus (AG)."

"The statute of limitations of the NDAs expired in 2017, so that was very clever of the poster. So, what do you want to know?"

We replied. Was (AG) ever posting on Bullshido.org?

"He was not posting there."

Was the case or cases against him false or defamatory?

"With prejudice means there was more than that."

Was he posting on other aggregate sites?

"He was posting on a site which was court ordered to be removed. CultMember.com. "

Was he mean to his ex wife, or the accused?

"The allegations against him were dropped. In a court of law, they were proven false."

How many COL people stood as witnesses to this?

"The CEO and most of her staff were allegedly witnesses. They could not have all been in the same room with the accused. It is not possible. He operated out of state."

We will not say where this was, as it's already known where the other company was.

So my next question is, was there a settlement in 2008?

"No. Not in this case. The accusers clearly were attempting to destroy the defendant. It was dropped with prejudice. The lawyers for the company refused then to show up, and repealed in anotherr higher court, which also was dropped."

A counter suit indicated a patent issue that had nothing to do with this. It was just the ceo trying to milk money from AG, right?

"I was not part of that case. I do not know."

Was all of this about money?

"It usually is about money. They didn't get anything. He didn't either."

So this actually jells with what (KB) said years ago.

"Going to assume he has gone on with his life, and stayed out of the spotlight."

Did acting members of the COL and the LWS actually use company time to berate and harass ex students?

"Yes. It's in the cases."

How did you know of this?

"I was involved. I regret it. I advised them not to do that, as it was legally sketchy. If even one of them turned and sued for defamation, they would be in for trouble legally."

The statute of limitations have expired on the whole thing, so in the end, everyone loses.

Maybe some of the ex students were actually trying to educate the masses more than riff on them. Seems they were trying to help for the wrong reasons. But in your opinion, was it justified?

"The former employees and students have every right within free speech to post so long as it is not defamatory. I see nothing defamatory about this site, for instance. It is an archive of those events."

Ha, the only thing I ever got was a divorce summons from them.

"That's against the law. I take it the limitations have expired on that?"

They have. It was a while ago. I wasn't even married. Ha.

"Well, then you had nothing to worry about."

Was Bullshido responsible for their bloggers?

"No. According to the terms of service, they were not responsible for anyone posting. That is why unlike the other site, they could not be removed."

And CultSlayerUs? It too was taken down. The first was.

"You closed that account, not a court order."

You are good.

"But it is a good thing OKD disappeared. That was questionable."

Yeah, that was. But to clarify, AG got nothing. TYK got nothing, KK got nothing?

"They got nothing."

Is it even libel?

"No. It was not hate speech. It was free speech. Testimonies of former students, like whistle blowers are protected."

So we don't use real names. I think I started this just shy of 21. Ha.

"You and yours are very clever, and decent sleuths. Too bad you never went into the business."

Ha, no.

End transmission.

EDIT. The term was not with prejudice. It turns out it was dismissed because they weren't legally married.

That One Post About the Cult will Not Return

"Is Jung SuWon a Cult a Three Part Drama" will not be returning. This is rather obvious as it uses their real and full names. We cannot repost this but were not told this by anyone in the cult. It was our own people. Our editors were like, do not put that back up. The rest is fine.

But is it? Yes and no. The school was not directly the cult. It was a door into the special programs that led to the cult.

In the scifi book series The Martial Sportiest, the COL is portrayed as a Sillian off shoot because there 'Your thoughts create reality'. so they were able to find closure in episodes where Kim was put on trial in an expanded version of the story. Names were changed there.

City of Light or College of Learning was a clandestine cult within the former American Tae Kwon Do Academy, ATC, which had been rebranded Jung SuWon, which translates roughly to Tae Kwon Do, Bofdy and Mind together.

We can say this name because it just means Tae Kwon Do.

So, also there is Jung Shin Tong Il, which also goes to body and mind, but also my book. Yes, buy her book. Ha.

Unlike my sister, Jane, let's call her, I do not care a whip about 'the blog is not being used much anymore', as the cult must continue to be mocked handily.

It operated from 1989 to about 2019, but between 2005 and 2012 they were neutered by former students.

The cult stopped replying after 2009 on the aggregate Bullshido, but their mods claim closer to 2011. That is where their old archive now ends.

We have the rest. It ran to about 2012 and then stopped while the main mods had new sites like Cult Member to mess with.

The impact of the Cultslayerus versions cannot be discounted, nor could Kittyki and theirs.

We all came together as one and brought them down.

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to do research and look into if you should join a martial arts related cult. You might not at first know that's what it is. You might not want to in the first place.

And we were wrong about one thing, no way there were 5,900 students. It was closer to 2,400. The cult had about 200 though in the prime.

Be an original. Do not join a cult. Kan sa ha me da. Kate

Recovered by InspectorFrak

This is an archive of an old blog by my ex. I've recovered it just to keep the story for giggles.

Operation Freedom from Cults

The archive will cover the old COL stories as it was before but under the name Kate instead of Marie. The original archives are gone.

That Song Book is Nuts

Jodie's literary professor at last commented on the song book some time later, after the class was over.

"The academy this person runs is a cult, and the students in it needed to seek mental health, not a fake doctor."

Is a Ki Master a thing?

"No. If she were Buddhist, she would not think that. She would think nothing at all, and let thoughts wash away, no crate reality."

Is the Korean cribbed from something you can identify?

"Yes, it is from a Korean English learning book printed in South Korea. Most of the phrases in the songs she wrote are just phrases meant to be learned phonetically and then changed to English. It's almost as if she doesn't write Korean 'sounding words' in English well at all. Ironically."

Like a tourist guide? Or an elementary schoolbook?

"Schoolbook. It's basic pronunciation."

Well, she did speak Korean quite verbally. Perhaps it was hat she stayed in the US so long she became rusty.

"You see, Koreans who seek fame tend to overcompensate and exaggerate their importance. It's what they do there. Not all. The ones that are important. Self important. Church leaders, politicians, those in high office, CEOs and cult leaders."

How could she have mixed up dog lover and cat lover?

"Ha! I do not know. They are very different in Korean."

Does an honorary doctorate from a literary school in Korea and an award from a satellite school in Korea make you an actual learned doctor? I know the answer. No.

"Anyone pretending to be a doctor of letters who is making money off that is a fraud. No, it will not make them a doctor."

The unnamed professor retired with the close of the semester. Heh.

Jodie barely passed.

Cult Utterly Finshed by Former Student Bloggers

COL is gone. Kitt cannot take all the credit. It was a group effort, even if disconnected and unrelated.

No, my ex was not posting on Bullshido and never was.

The court case was not dismissed with prejudice, it was never completed. In 2008, when we were all dragged into chambers, the defense team and the judge decided to throw out the case whole cloth.

We all got a nice long lecture about wasting the civil court's time, and the county's time, for bringing up false allegations against each party.

Naturally, the prosecution was on the defensive and claimed AG owned TYK money for alleged irreconcilable differences in their marriage. All they had really. No dramatic counter suit from me. I did nothing of the sort. That was all TYK. I wasn't even asked to stand.

The 'trail' never took place. The records you found online were of a dismissed pre court case that never took place, but documents did list a case almost happened. It was indeed tossed out, in that courtroom back room that feature day in 2008.

COL stopped posing on BS after 2008 and never updated, making the former students continue without news.

Not going to entertain going into our other sites. No point in that. Sticking to the case.

Contrary to RA's comments all over the boards, I did not have an affair with AG. TYK made that up. RA was never there. We did not share an apartment. He was the president of a company. He didn't need to share rent. She must think we were on a TV show. TYK does that too. I know. I was there. No apartment, no hanky panky.

Why would he share an apartment with me, or her? Makes no sense. Unless she confused me with someone else.

Also if there was grounds in the case such as an affair, and it was real, don't you think they would have had a case? See, makes no sense. No, I had been divorced from her third in command. I want to sect that right.

RA hung out with us, yes, but there was nothing going on between us. Maybe she just assumed we were living together because so much of our time was spent at the same low paying job working for the cult. Must be it. Give her the benefit of the doubt.

No, there was no counter case for assault. That is ridiculous, even for TYK. We were in a martial arts school. We could not prove that training didn't make us have bruises, so nobody was going to counter with that.

You cannot have a divorce case counter with a patent case. The two are different cases. TYK having lost the case, sued again for patent. Different case. Even though RA years ago yelled at KK for this online in posts, KK was right. The cases were not counter suits. They were unrelated.

Also there is the matter that COL denies, TYK was not married to AG, not legally through the state. You cannot claim you have a marriage to get a divorce settlement if you never okayed it with the county and state. She just assumed she was legally married.

At least mine had been legal. His was not.

Furthermore, TYK had no business marrying a man half her age. That is gross.

The threw out the case in 2008 because she was not married to him legally, and it was a waste of time.

You YSN kids have your fun all these years later, but know that now there is no legal standing, only legendary posts.

Also, do not pm RA or AG who have moved on. Leave them alone.

I have no regrets now, only that the old channel I had with you is gone, and the copy is the only one left. Kitt.

TYK is 79 now. This stuff all blew up in 2005, 20 years ago. She was 59 then. AG was 35. Gross.

Edited post from Kitt this morning. Posting here, not on my main sites.

I am floored. Penny.

Sent this to Jodie.

Kate Q and A The Guru Stories

Was the Guru really all that poor growing up?

No, she was not. That was made up for the movies.

Did she really see a friend die before her eyes?

No, that was from a movie.

When she was in LA once, did she really fend off attackers?

Not likely. She just freaked out and yelled.

Was it her husband who was actually well off?

Yes, he was pretty well off. She owes the origins of the cult to him.

When she was a child, did she really cleverly dump tea onto her suitors to show them?

No, she was a klutz and the story was made up to make her look good.

Where did she get Frog and Scorpion?

American folk fables.

Where did she get the caterpillar and cocoon opened too early story?

A popular TV show at the time called Kung Fu.

Did she work at a Howard Johnson in Vermont?

Maybe, but she exaggerates this because it was a very, very brief time. No change HJ remembers her.

Did she go from rags to riches?

No, she went from upper middle class socialite's daughter in Vermont to riches via the influence of her younger sibling and her relatives, who had money, and a restaurant.

Was she lost during the war and hid behind some doors?

Maybe, but more likely she was abandoned, and went to look for her parents. This also bears a striking similarity to a then popular film where not only does this happen to a little Asian girl, but that she also sees someone die.

What is the name of her Master who taught her Ki energy?

Her Uncle was named Kim. He taught her. Not so dramatic.

So, where did the ki energy come from?

Chi is a common threat in martial arts movies of the 60s and 70s and she merely cribbed it.

Was she a barmaid on an airbase in Korea?

Yes, she was, but not a stripper. She worked as a hostess and that is where she met her husband.

Was her English really that bad if she sold cars in Vermont?

Her English is actually pretty good when she's not mugging for the camera. Yes, she sold cars.

Did she had a kink for watching violent movies? Seems you guys went to a few of them?

Yes. She took the students to some horror and some violent movies, usually as a lesson, which she usually got wrong.

She loved the Joy Luck Club, but did anything in that really happen to her?

No. She did not have any of that happen. She would get into films and think she was in them.

Was the cult involved in a pyramid sales scam in the 1990s involving vitamins, hair products, cable TV, or real estate?

All of the above. The most infamous of this is In Design Nutritionals.

Was her first book a best seller and what are the actual stats?

The Seven Steps to Inner Power was not an international best seller at all. Her 1990s book made approximately 2,400 in sales, mostly copies sold to students and their friends. The 'best seller' tag seems to come from a local bookstore in the San Jose area, not from any major publishing paper. It was a best seller at the book store. That's it.

Did her two TV shows, Morning Planet and the other, ever air anywhere?

Public access and YouTube.

Is it true that her school and the Ernie Reyes school collaborated on a film?

Yes, Three Ninjas. Some of the students are in the film as unpaid, unaccredited background extras.

What is I Smell a Lemon really from?

Saturday Night Live circa 1987. She wasn't very original. She changed it into a master story, but it was just a joke.

Where did Look and Die come from?

Comedies in the 1980s, and also from Fame, a drama movie musical. She thought she thought of it. Nope. I'll give her credit for flubbing the line to make it her own. In the song it's 'People will see me and die', or in the other, 'Look at me and die'. from the comedies, which is closer.

How rich really is she?

Now, probably worth a few million. Not much more though.

Is most of that jewelry from the videos fake?

A lot of it is. She loved the costume stuff.

Did she really get a Stevie award before it even existed? How did she get a Susan Anthony? The same question for any award?

Easy answer, she paid people to give her awards. As for the Stevie, I cannot explain that other than someone messed up. It was some other lady in the 90s.

Did she really marry and then angrily divorce one of her students in the mid 2000s over an affair and try to sue him?

Yes, she did. Ironically he never posted on the web sites about it. The exes however did. A lot.
